Electrician in Ottawa, Ontario

I graduated as an Electrical Engineering Technician from La Cité Collégiale. In this program we studied the electrical code, principles / theory of electricity, troubleshooting, controls and measurement, digital theory, as well as practical applications of our classroom studies. During my time in college I was one of the top students in the program and I received recognition from the faculty. I was one of twelve students chosen to participate in a summer apprenticeship program and presently have my 309A apprentice certificate. In addition, based on my academic performance I was awarded several grants and bursaries. I have logged approximately 640 hours of hands-on practical experience towards my apprenticeship while working for an electrical firm in Hawkesbury. During this time I worked in residential, commercial and industrial environments. I performed residential service calls, industrial cable/conduit installation, as well as fixture installations. While attending college I worked part-time for Princess Auto in the Hydraulics and Farm departments. Here I learned hydraulic theory as well as basic hydraulic prototyping in addition to troubleshooting and repair. I am known for my excellent customer service as well as being one of the “go-to” guys for bilingual service. I am a strong team player with an even disposition. I enjoy physical work and embrace challenges. I am a problem solver by nature and a quick learner. I have a reliable source of transportation with my own tools.
