Midwest Technical Institute, an established career college with campuses throughout the Midwest and Mississippi Delta region, is seeking a part-time Electrician Instructor for our Brownsburg, IN campus. Current Opening: Electrician Instructor This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to train students for entry level employment in the workforce. The Electrician Instructor will teach both classroom theory and hands on in lab situations. Midwest Technical Institute believes that hands-on learning is the greatest benefit that instructors can provide to its students. Job Duties Include: • Teaching classes in both a classroom and lab environment • Maintaining a good working relationship with industry employers • Assisting graduates with placement in their related career field • Staying up to date with industry standards Minimum Qualifications: • 3 years’ experience as an Electrician • Preferred experience in Industrial / Commercial / Maintenance applications • Working knowledge of electrical codes and code book • Strong communication and organizational skills are a must • Computer proficiency • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team • Ability to multi-task Payment and Compensation: We offer a competitive wage and compensation packages.
