Electrician in Vaughan, Ontario

Hello I am seeking a licensed electrical contractor who will take me on as a 1st term apprentice. I have 10 years experience doing A/V installs and electronic repairs for concert halls, corporate/banquet halls and recording studios. I have been responsible for the install/assembly, maintenance or repair of everything from amplifiers and speakers systems and audio processing units, to stage lighting and both single and 3 phase field power distribution panels for large scale live events. I recently graduated from a private career college pre apprenticeship program that is equivalent of 1st year of MTCU trade school covering prints, code, theory and practical labs for residential wiring. I have safety training (WHIMS, Elevated platform, fall arrest, CPR etc) I have a full toolkit, safeties, a brain bucket, my own vehicle and a clean abstract I'm a decade older than your average apprentice, mature/stable, looking to career transition and hungry to get into the trade. I can provide references from my current and former employers. I am willing to to give you a day labour free as a "working interview" and to continue working under a trial period before you go through the formal process of registering me.
