Electrician in Oshawa, Ontario

Dear Sir/Madam: I am looking for an Electrical Contractor who is willing to hire and train me to become a licensed Electrician. I am an excellent candidate with training/safety certificates, pre-trained good work habits and thorough knowledge of the basics. The training I received is equivalent to Level One apprenticeship in-school training, plus over 120 hours of practical training. Hire me and you will have an apprentice that is pre-trained and able to work independently. I have a valid driver’s license, clean criminal background, the proper safety gear and the right tools for the job. The 360 hours of Electrical Pre-apprenticeship Training was completed at B.G. McPherson Training Center; a registered private career college located in Oshawa, Ontario. I completed my Pre-Apprentice certificate Nov. 22, 2016. I finished second overall in the class with an 88% average. Throughout this course I was taught to: - Interpret C.E.C. & blueprints - Understand basic electrical theory - Edison 3-wire I have learned how to apply C.E.C. rules and regulations to hands-on wiring such as: - Residential branch circuits - Underground and overhead services - Fire alarm systems - EMT conduit Safety certificates include WHMIS, Fall Arrest, Lockout/TagOut, Confined Space, Scaffold. For your information, there is funding available for apprentices and for employers. Employers can receive up to $10,000 per apprentice. In addition you may be eligible to have my first 1-6 months wages paid for by other government programs. I would like to be considered for the position. Please let me know if you have any questions.
