Hello to everyone. Based on the very large interest in my course, and diversity of subjects I am asked to cover, I am expanding the scope of training I have provided so far. I am introducing training in the field of Industrial Electricity that goes hand in hand with the PLC training. The electrical course is concise, and in any part does not constitute a complete course or practical training for an Industrial Electrician but it will provide you with a solid base and knowledge of motor control circuits, wiring and devices. This course will cover safety topics on how to lock out and tag out and how to be safe around electrical equipment. How to use PPE, multimeters and a megers. You will learn hands on and get a practical experience on how to install splitter boxes and disconnect switches. You will have hands on experience on how to install and connect motor starters, control transformers, contactors, relays, limit switches and push button stations. You will wire these devices to operate a 600 Volt AC motor so safety around electrical equipment is number 1. In the industrial environment the knowledge of a motor control circuit is of a paramount importance. When the machinery stops you must figure out fast how to fix it. You must find out whether the problem is in the motor, control devices or protection devices. You will learn how to choose the correct wire, conduit size, fuses size and overload protection for motors using Canadian Electrical Code book. You will learn about different voltage system that will be encountered in the industrial environment. Once you have successfully completed the practical exercises you will continue the PLC Training if you decide to do so. You will learn how to control the same motor you connected previously using the PLC program. The equipment is a ControlLogix5000, RSLogix500 and RSLogix5.The PLC training is for everyone.
