Electrician in Ottawa, Ontario

Hi,  I am 20 years old with an Electrical Engineering Technician diploma from Algonquin College, and I am currently enrolled in their Construction Management program online.  For the past year I have been working as a Security Alarm Technician on both residential and commercial job sites doing security installations, camera systems, and card access systems. I beleive this experience would be beneficial because I am able to run conduit, fish and pull wires in both new and existing buildings, wire a neat and clearly labeled alarm panel, use many different hand/power tools effectively, work alone or with a group, and keep a presentable work vehicle as well as a safe work site. I have experience operating a bucket truck and scissor lifts, and I have recently completed Fall Arrest Training under my current employer. I have also wrote the mandatory aptitude test required by the IBEW to be on the apprentice waiting list, so I am able to work for a unionised company as well as a non unionised company.  Thank you for you're time.
