Electrician Job in Madison, Wisconsin

Job Description: This person in this position will be the direct supervisor of our electrician staff, responsible for leadership, helping with hiring decisions, discipline, training, information flow to the scheduler, and ensuring that jobs run as planned. The person must be comfortable with the use computer, and standard office software such as Excel and Outlook. This person must be a self-starter, and be able to discuss electrical distribution with customers in a professional and friendly manner to explain progress on projects, and problems within the system. Safe working practices must be a given. Requirements: We are looking for an electrician that is comfortable with computers, technically savvy, a team player, good communicator, who either has a Master Electrician License or is a Journeyman willing to work on earning a Master Electrician License. We want a person that is looking for a company where he/she can learn new skills and develop a career, not just a job. This person must be willing to learn software, and other tools, and must have a great attitude, a desire to learn, grow professionally, and be part of a team. Communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to complete paperwork for jobs are a must. A focus on safety in the workplace is mandatory.
