CAREERS: The Next Generation works with high schools across the province to identify youth wanting to enter a career in the trades. Through application process we work with schools to bring youth to you for the summer after grades 10, 11 or even 12 to your workplace to begin their journey. Why RAP? * WCB is covered by Alberta Education * Wages can be minimum wage or better - you are not held to the percentage of a journeyman wage. What do the young apprentices get? * A foot in the door with a hiring company looking to invest in youth * Wages, apprenticeship hours, and credits for school * Access to a $1000 scholarship with a minimum 250 hours completed in RAP, proof of graduation, and plans to continue in the trade.
