Electrician Job in Whitchurch-Stouffville, Ontario

Are you an experienced Electrician? We're looking to immediately hire an experienced Journeyman-woman Electrician in the Whitchurch-Stouffville, Ontario area. The Electrician will be responsible for the entire job process start to finish, circuits and wiring, electricial panel installs and upgrades, indoor and outdoor lighting, troubleshooting and repairs. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of current electrical codes and regulations. Also, the Electrician should have excellent customer service, troubleshooting and problem solving skills. Responsibilities and Duties - Reading and interpreting drawings, blueprints, circuit diagrams and understanding of electrical codes specification to determine wiring layout for new or existing electrical installations - Installing, repairing, maintaining, troubleshooting and inspecting different electrical equipment and devices according to the appropriate codes - Running tests on electrical components to ensure a safe and effective installation - Problem solving and troubleshooting to design custom circuits to the desired liking of a customer - Supervising assigned job site employees to complete a project safely and effectively - Responsible for the corresponding paperwork, materials, and tools - Proven work experience as an electrician in residential and commercial maintenance, renovation and new construction Skills and Specifications - Ability to work and manage other subcontractors and fellow employees to Unibolt - Demonstrate knowledge of all tools and equipment - Past journeyman/woman electrician experience of 5 years or more is preferred - Elevated Work Platform Training is preferred - Required G class drivers license - Excellent time management and organizational skills - Willingness to travel as required - Start and close jobs independently - Has knowledge of generator wiring - Has experience with wiring custom homes Education and Certification - 309A Electrician Construction-Maintenance license - Basic First Aid/CPR Certificate - WHMIS - Working at Heights, Lift certificates a strong asset We're offering competitive pay of $40.0-$50.0 HOURLY for this position.
