Job Description: The Electrical team is seeking a career-focused Journeyman to perform and be accountable for the following job responsibilities: * Trouble shoot and repair bridge malfunctions * Plan, coordinate, and participate in the electrical maintenance & repair of movable bridges, roadway lightings and tunnel facilities * Install, maintain and repair wiring, electrical circuits, switches, relays, resistors, contactors, lighting, motors, generators, surge arrestors, breaker, fuses, PCL, control circuits, drives, and related mechanical & hydraulic equipment * Performs routine bridge maintenance including, cleaning contacts, lamp replacement, limit switch, adjustment / replacement and keeping the bridge electrical systems organized and properly working. Perform routine maintenance and service Air Condition Units * Perform monthly Amperage and Megger Ohm reading on electrical motors * Maintain bridge street, navigational, traffic signal & advanced warning lighting Requirements: * Florida licensed Journeyman Electrician * Ability to read electrical plans / blueprints / schematic drawings * Ability to provide accurate written and/or electronic reports * Ability to work from bucket trucks & lift equipment * Ability to climb stairs and ladders on a regular basis * This position requires standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling, balancing, kneeling and crawling * Ability to work varied hours, overtime and/or be in an "on-call" rotation. * Valid driver's license and driving record that meets company standards Send your resume to [email protected]
