Electrician Job in Inwood, Iowa

A&J Electric is looking to hire! We are a small family owned company in Inwood, IA. We currently have 5 teammates and cannot keep up with demand. We need to add 2 more. This will be a permanent full time position. We install and service all types of electrical equipment, farms, residential, commercial, grain handling systems, dairy work, basically everything that uses electricity. Currently we are adding on to our shop, enjoy a nice new space to work out of. If you are an experienced electrician, we could use you. If you are not experienced and would like to become an electrician, we could use you. *Consistently work 40-45 hrs/week *Family focused, not a problem to ask for time off *Starting pay $12 - $23 based on experience and knowledge *We will get you an apprentice license to start earning hours toward your journeyman. *Can start immediately *Willing to pay for continuing education *Learn to run a trencher, scissor lift, genie lift, and boom truck. As long as you have basic knowledge of using tools, are willing to work 40 hours a week, and can be dependable, we can use you. *Must be able to show up on time consistently *Must have the knowledge and capability to run basic tools *Must be willing to work in all conditions (we do our best to work inside on bad weather days, but sometimes emergencies happen) (most of our work is new construction, so it is a clean environment, but we do service dairies, hog barns, manure handling systems, sometimes it can be dirty) *Must have common sense *Owning your own tools is a plus, but if not we can supply *Must have valid drivers license and be able to pass a drug screening *Must act appropriately around teammates and customers (neat, kind, courteous)
