I am currently working as a laborer, setting up fiber-optics for residential areas. While I'm happy with the work I'm doing now, and I'm learning some things about electrical work, I'd still like something more career oriented. Specifically the electrical trade. I helped my grandfather with some residential jobs a back in the summer of 2013 by handing him tools and carrying his equipment. While I didn't do any of the electrical work myself, I still obtained a general understanding of the trade from a residential point of view. That summer experience is what got me interested in becoming an electrician. I think it’s something I would really enjoy doing. There are several skills I bring to the table if you choose to hire me. I believe that a job is only as dangerous as you make it, regardless of the possibilities. I'm very safety oriented and it shows in my day to day work. I work great independently, with little need for direction; however I also enjoy working in a team setting. Probably the most important attribute I can put forth is my enthusiasm and work ethic. I take pride in my work. I won't take my time just because I get paid by the hour and I won't try to rush something to go home early. I'll put in all my effort to make sure I do an excellent job.
