Electrician Job in Perrysburg, Ohio

My wife and I decided the replace the receptacles in our house. All work fine now but 3 and we cannot figure it out. The 3 remaining are all in a row and feed off of each other. The first one is half controlled by a light switch and then feeds the second outlet which in turn feeds the third outlet. I am not sure if there is an open circuit somewhere because we have tried all the combinations of wiring we could find online and still the second and third outlet downstream will not work.
